About A.M.D

My real name is Alex I am 23yrs old & I am a House DJ/Producer from London

How I Started:

I started collecting vinyl at the age of 14 and this was when my career started on track. I was always into Dance Music from an early age and loved everything about it. I was so enthusiastic with Dance Music that I couldn’t wait to start DJin. At the age of 15 is when I got my first turntables and UK Garage was the genre that got me started and my passion for DJin continued from there.

Producing:

As I got a bit older I knew I wanted to be involved in the production side of the music as well. At the age of 18 I went and studied Music Technology to learn and further my knowledge as a producer. It was here where I learnt more about the Music Industry and it drove me even more to become a DJ/Producer. It was at this stage that it made me realize that I really could do this, and i was progressing very confidently towards it.

House Music:

House Music has been such an inspiration to me in my Music and my Life. It is where my real passion is. Listening and following producers like Armand Van Helden, David Morales, Fedde Le Grand, Axwell are the ones who have got me hooked to this genre. Currently I am really into Defected Sounds and get a lot of my inspiration from them. DJin and producing House has been such a drive for me. I have been into House music for 4 years now and love how there is such a variation to the genre. It is such a world wide craze on behalf of music and this one of the reasons why I love it so much.

Now:

My ambition is to break into the House scene as a successful DJ/Producer and I am enjoying my journey towards this. I am currently working on producing my own tracks and I'm enjoying moving ahead with this. I have also been DJin in the London Club scene for 3yrs now and I'm looking forward to continuing moving onwards and upwards...
