DJ Biography:

Daniel started DJ-ing at the age of 14 when he brought his first set of decks, he started off buying vinyl and getting the grips of basic DJ skills. He quickly grasped the skills he needed to DJ to play out to crowds and started playing for parties and events in and around London. These experiences gave him a great feel for reading crowds and selecting the correct type of songs for the audience he was playing to. This landed him with more and more bookings for these types of events, but he soon got  decided he wanted to move to the next step which was to start DJ-ing in nightclubs. As he was still not old enough at the time he focused on preparing himself for when he reached the age of 18 and could play out in clubs. This involved both intermediate and advanced DJ training from John Taylor, a major player in the UK electro and Acid house scene and lots of intense practice. He also decided to learn the art of CD mixing which meant he could incorporate new methods into his mixing such as looping and sampling. As soon as he reached the age of 18 he started to send out Mix-tapes and contact promoters in the hope of landing some gigs in clubs and bars. He quickly got his first a slot djing at a Loop Lounge in Croydon alongside Kiss 100 radio station DJ's and impressed the promoters who have since booked him for several other nights. Daniel's dream of DJ-ing in Ministry Of Sound followed shortly after and has earnt him more gigs at the venue playing at events with artists such as Sister Bliss (Faithless), Judge Jules (Radio 1) and the international Gallery resident Hernan Cattaneo. His next event was at a brand new bar in Islington, London, which has since earnt him his own monthly house night which helps to promote up-and-coming house DJ's. Daniel continues to grow in experience and is earning more and more sets in and around London, with his passion for music and flare for reading crowds clearly showing. His well practiced techniques and control whilst mixing allow him to constantly progress in his DJ-ing career. His past experience in mixing several types of music allows him to perform to any crowd no matter what venue he plays at. This combined with his energy behind the decks, his friendly personality, seamless mixing and crowd interaction make him perfect for any event.
