DJ Biography:

I have always loved dance music and since 1999 have been privileged enough to play at a number of venues across the South East. I was collecting vinyl a long time before this, but at the time never knew that it would play such an important part in my life. Growing up through a time of changing music styles I always seemed to get drawn towards tracks with a lot of piano, and vocals that would make you feel good inside and want to throw your hands up in the air. From 2000, I spent a number of years at Storm Southend as one of their residents and had the opportunity to work with and learn from some very good DJs. In the past few years I've tried to mix my sets up a bit, touching on Electro, Tribal & Progressive House but always sticking to the Funky & Vocal feel that makes people excited and wanting more. I have now made the switch away from vinyl, preferring to play my sets on CDJs and loving the ability to learn new tricks all the time. It may sound like a bit of a cliche, but there is definitely no better feeling in the world then when you are interacting with a crowd and you know that they are getting that same uplifting feeling which you are, and all those years of collecting tunes to make the pieces of your set have finally come together in that one moment.
