Darren Paul is a self motivated DJ and has worked very hard to achieve everything in his career. Darren is well travelled and worked exciting venues all over Europe mainly Spain and UK.
At the beginning, aged 18, Darren mixed with many DJ's that introduced him to the world of 1210's, he already had a very unique passion for House Music, after leaving the UK in search of sun and the life that most of us dream off, landed some amazing residencies in the Canary Islands and Majorca, also gained experience working with big names such as, Stretch n Vern, Andy Garcia, and more recently here in the UK, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce, Andy Daniels (Hed Kandi), John Bates (Hed Kandi) and Uniting Nations.
Darren has an amazing ability to read any crowd and works with high energy in the way his sets are put together and played. A very original House DJ that is very versatile and consistently performs. Many of Darren's Funky House sets have a carnival vibe from the influences of working in Spain for many years. Balearic House is becoming big part of the House scene as produces strive towards the Ibiza Anthem for those summer months.
On a personal level Darren is an ambitious DJ and is always in the box to impress and further his career, he is also a resident DJ for a promotional team named Dirty Little Funkers. Very soon he hopes to move in to music production and taking with him his 12 years of DJ experience and fill his lifetime ambition to play his own music at his own gigs. Darren has been lucky enough to do something he loves as a career and still has exciting times ahead.
You will be nothing but impressed at his technical ability and taste in House Music, also using the most upfront technology to DJ allowing him to be even more versatile using Final Scratch 2, whilst still keeping the ways of the vinyl DJ alive.
