DJ Biography:

DIGITAL JUNKIES formed back in 2003 after Dan and Ian came together during a VIBE FUSION gig in there home town of Hereford. Dans chugging proggressive sound, and Ian's trance background seemed like a good basis for trying to put something together a little bit different, the end result was a success and an entirely fresh new sound evolved. Reading and working the crowd is an important part ot the DIGITAL JUNKIES sets, hitting the peaks and troughs at the right times, feeding from the atmosphere generated on the dance floor. The DIGITAL JUNKIES sound ranges from slow tech/tribal house through to sweeping epic proggressive trance,occasionaly dropping in powerful electro baselines along the way, and has secured them a residency for the ELEGANCE PROMOTION at M.O. playing alongside the likes of NICK SENTIENCE, ROB TISSERA, LEE HASLAM and GUYVER to name but a few. Producing has become the next step for the JUNKIES as Ian has just finished a BSc in Sound Technology at the highest level, at the University Of Glamorgan. Ableton live has recently become an important part of the DIGITAL JUNKIES sets using the power of loops and samples to re-mix or re-edit tunes in the studio or on the fly live during there club apperancies. Things are definitely looking good for the JUNKIES this year as Dj's as well as producers. With over 20 years of experience between them, and there passion and drive to keep dance music alive, is all the motivation needed to produce some of the highest quality and thrilling DJ sets your ears are likley to grace.
