Hi this is how I become a dj...
I started djing in 1997 when I was 17 years old at home but when I went to a record shop in Milton Keynes called phat tracks, were I met Glen Woods, Ian Hall and dj S.A.S.
So I bought a big box of records and Ian hall said to me what deck u got I said sound lad he laughed (quit a lot) he said if you want to be good at djing you need 1210 and a good mixer so he got me some second hand ones then he said ill come over to yours and ill give you the basics on mixing on 1210 so from then on I didnít look back.
Within 3 month I had my own shop with Ian hall inside phat tracks record shop sell dj stuff, Then 2 month after that we setup a studio called Technique so djs could make demos on cd, mini disc & tape plus making there own songs on a pc with Ian and I.
We also taught people how to mix, It was so nice to help people on there way in the world of mixing & djing like Ian did with me.
So then record shop owner dj S.A.S said to me would you like to come play the warm up set at the black bottom club Northampton so he asked the manger of the club she said is he good enough he said yes very, So I went and the night was a successes so we played together from then to 2001 then I took over from S.A.S as he give up djing.
I went on playing there to 2003, plus the club could hold 2700 people when all 3 rooms were full.
Plus we did all the private party for the club as well, weddings, works parties, Xmas parties, 70s and just dance parties.
In 1999 I played at vages with Glen Woods. EZ & spoony about 4 times in 6 month it was great.
Plus Glen Wood, KC, Jayson Jay & I played 3 times at the kill rush mk,
In 2000 I played with djs that used the studio named Matt John & GT at casa in Milton Keynes for about 6 month on a Saturday night playing lovely funky house & club classics.
Then in 2002 I play with Jayson Jay in Empire night club playing club classics about 3 times would have done more but I was busy with B.B.C in Northampton
In 2004 I played with Matt John at Revolution bar.
Then in 2005 I was asked to go back for 3 month by the new manger of the black bottom club Northampton
Then in 2006 I just done private party as my girl friend & I had a lovely baby girl & we moved from Milton Keynes to Grimsby
I have got a 3000 watt rms pa system, lights, lasers, uvs, fogger, 1210 decks, mixer and cd mixers If you need me to bring this just ask me and I will price its for you.
