  DJ Biography:

At 17 years old i went clubbing for the first time, and it was also the first time i had seen a set of decks and could not believe how the dj was working the crowd, it was amazing, and i then realised that i wanted to be a dj. I saved up to buy a set of decks, joined a dj academy, and was tought how to dj by some amazing people. During my time at the dj academy i became friends with someone who i still know today. We decided to start dj'ing together and got our first residency at a bar in Brindley Place, Birmingham. We had been playing there for a few weeks when we got spotted by a club promoter from Ireland who asked us to play at a night he was putting on at The Music Temple Bar in Dublin. We played the gig, loved it and wanted more. We decided to call ourselves the Dex Pistols and got a gig at Bullitt in Tamworth, which is where we met the third Dex Pistol and we have gone from strenght to strenght ever since. Bullitt made us monthly residents and we played there for a year. We then decide to hire a club and promote our own monthly night at Mud Club, Moonlounge in Birmingham and began to get a good following. Between gigs with the Dex Pistols i had Dj'd a few times on my own which included Henry J Beans on Broad Street, The Canal Club in Wolverhampton and an after party at Bash Bar. Our following was getting bigger and we needed a bigger venue so we moved to the Sanctuary and played a few one off nights which was an excellent experience. Word was getting around how good our nights were and we got approached by Gatecrasher promoter Scott Bond who had started his new night in Birmingham called Ahead and we were soon playing with some big names. Our first gig for Ahead was at Club H.Q and we played along side Leeroy Thornhill from the Prodigy. We got booked again for the next Ahead night, this time at Hidden, playing along side the Plump Dj's. We then got approached by Ben Nott who promotes a big night in Birmingham called Ultra+. He booked us to play at Cocoon along side Pete Heller. In December 2006 we played the Ultra+ christmas party at Dragon Eye along side Yousef and Godskitchen resident Chris Turner. Our biggest night came on May 12th when we were on the same bill as Danny Howells, Yousef, Touche, Lewis Boardman and Luciano Esse at the Custard factory in Birmingham. Although i still love dj'ing with the Dex Pistols i feel i need to be dj'ing a lot more and i feel have the experience to rock any crowd at any club.
