I started mixing at the age of 20 when a friend introduced me to the trusty Technics! I learned myself to fluently beatmatch to a stage where i was confident to play out to people. At this time I lived in a small sleepy town in the Midlands so getting bookings was hard but I managed to get a few including Sofa Sofa in Walsall, but mainly I put on a lot of my own events at small clubs in the town. I was also lucky enough to play at a few new age travellers parties - illegal free ones!
They were wicked playin? to 1000s of up for it Harddancers it was such a good experience.
In the last year since moving to Manchester things have really started to look up for me, I attended SSR DJ school where I learned a few more mixing skills including beat juggling and some scratching skills.
At the end of the course I obtained an NVQ level 3 to a city and guilds level 3 in DJ Techniques and Music production, at the college I made some good friends who were into the same styles of music so myself and a friend decided to start our own harddance night called Rebellion which we started in Feb 2005 and it's going very well that well in fact our next event will be our eighth and we are holding an allnighter in March with some of the finest DJs in the scene today.
In future I plan to start up another event concentrating on hardtrance and hardcore and to make some banging hardtrance tracks.
