Adam's dj'ing career has gone from strength to strength from his first
appearance back in October 2002. Touching up on his skill and techniques
in the bedroom, he is now playing out to partygoers at various nights
around the UK. His first big break was a breathtaking set at Planet
Angel, and underground Trance club in the heart of London. His first gig
was in October 2002, and with his ability to mix the classics with the
new, uplifting sound that his is trademark, Planet Angel has seen him
back there time and time again. He is recognised as one of the Planet
Angel crew who gives the partygoers what they want, upfront tunes,
blended with the classics that have made Trance what it is today, a
sound that truly is emotional. You can catch him there every 2/ 3
months. Not only has Adam played there, but also Bar Offshore in King's
Cross, London. A completely different atmosphere Adam says, but
nevertheless enjoyable. His highlight of his career was when he got a
booking to play alongside Poziom X during a mini tour of North Poland in
May 2005. This was an experience he will never forget. His passion for
Trance music has always been close to him. 'Finding a record that means
something to me is what I enjoy most about dj'ing'. Keeping the crowd
going with these records gives me a huge lift', Adam says. "Trance is
said to be dying", but Adam thinks differently, "Trance is very much
"alive". It has its quiet times, then it sure comes back and hits you
where you've never felt it before. Sharing the buzz with like-minded
partygoers gives me a huge lift" Adam says.
His sound has changed quite a bit from his early days. He is now more
into the Progressive sounds, but still keeps the uplifting vibes that
got him into dj'ing. The blend of the Progressive and Uplifting sounds
has seen him play different set times and at different places. This is
great fro any dj.
Adam loves to travel. 'Meeting new people in exciting, new locations is
an experience in itself', Adam says. 'It has also allowed me to visit
places I probably wouldn't have even thought of visiting, like Serbia.
'I hope for more overseas gigs in the future'.
My show 'Transparent Landscapes' airs every Monday @ 20:00GMT on
www.danceradio.gr bringing you the finest in Progressive & Uplifting
Trance. The show has gone from a show attracting 50 listeners to over
300 listeners every week in a year....so it's proving to be a great
success. He plays host to many influential people, including Adam
Nickey, Ronski Speed, Kamil Polner, Nenes, Vadim Soloviev and many, many
more. 'I wouldn't want to work for another station', Adam adds.
