Where do i start....? My love affair with music dates back literally to when i was a young boy. I was always fascinated with
my dads record player, and was exposed to a vast range of different music from an early age & onwards throughout my life. I
have fond memories of taking my dads vinyls throughout my younger days. The fascination with all things musical and
electronic continued strongly and still does to this day. As i grew older i began to acquire tapes that i would record from
local radio stations from nightclubs, thats when i was first exposed to house music. From that moment onwards i was hooked on
the sound. Down came the oasis posters, up went the club flyers. Still at the tender age of about 12 or 13, i found it hard to
get my hands on as much dance music as i wanted, but searched hard and long to find it wherever i could, one of my main
sources was a local record shop which was run by the World djs and began speaking to them and wenever i could afford
sometimes when i couldnt i purchased vinyls and mixed cds. Eventually the time came when i was able to get myself into some
decks to practice myself. Then my affair with dance music was born. I can remember spending full nights behind the the
decks practicing beat matching, I knew it was for me. i started dj-ing @ the start of 2000. I was in my last year of school
and it was time to decide what to do next. Naturally i went on to college and then on to university but whilst having a part
time job at lloyds tsb i earned enough money to keep my collection of music going, and with my ever growing passion for the
electronic side of music i felt compelled to take things further. So I had production lessons using logic and cubase at a local
studio, it spanned 6months, but most of all it gave me my sense of direction once i turned 18 i was enable to produce mixed
cds of myself and post them to bars and clubs throughout warrington which i received a residency at numourous local
bars/clubs, and have regular guest spots round and about north west england. I've played alongside some good djs to crowds
that make you go weak @ the knees! At the moment my dj style is electro house or filthy but groovy with plenty of
turntablism thrown in to keep things lively! i wish to continue pushin my ambition to dj as much as i can.
