I have loved dance music since the hedonistic days of Rave music, even though I was 10 at the time I was constantly recording mix tapes to listen to. Through the 90's I followed dance music and listened to all the classics from Prodigy, Urban Cookie Collective and Snap. When Trance hit the mainstream in 97/98 (when I turned 18) I was in the night clubs every week enjoying the sounds of tracks like Café Del Mar and 9PM. This was the point that I started to buy CD singles every week of every new dance track release. This fuelled my enjoyment of the Trance and House music styles.

I was introduced to DJ-ing in 2000 when, in my first year at Uni, my flatmate at the time taught me the basics of how to DJ. The following year I co-founded the DJ society at the University of Birmingham. It was through this society that I gained my first experiences of playing live in pubs, bars and clubs. This also helped me to get to know some local promoters which in turn provided me with bookings at other venues away from the society. In my time of DJ-ing I have warmed up for the likes of Matt Hardwick, Nick Raferty, Nic Fancuilli and Hinsley.
