Kris Brown is one of the new kids of Progressive House & Electronic Music. His debut track "Hello Speaker" [Polytechnic Recordings] caused a stir in the UK scene in 2010 amongst his peers, and follow up remixes on the same label received high profile feedback & support from some serious artists including Andrew-K, Flash Brothers, Andy Newland, Josh Abrams, James Warren, Matt Black, Luke Porter, Sasha Le Monnier, Ben Coda, Simon Firth, Storyteller, Nicholas Van Orton, Redloft & Stereo K.
Kris now produces under a few small independent record labels that regularly feature in the ReleasePromo top 100 chart (LuPS Digital, Segment Records, Soundtribe Rekords & Fever Sounds are amongst these).
As a DJ, Kris has previously produced sets for Polytechnic Records (label-based podcasts for radio release). His latest 'Polycast' release was aired on Kiss FM (Hungary). Kris also releases a regular podcast, email for full details.
With a vast amount of clubbing experience ranging from beautiful small time events at Planet Angel in London to Privelege & Amnesia, Kris has had a big taste of the party pie. He now aims at returning the favour in DJing; "One of the main reasons I love DJing is because like many other great DJ's, I have evolved from clubbing. The electric atmosphere of smooth breakdowns and bouncy progressive beats has always given me a buzz. To think that I can get like minded people up there with me onto the next level makes me so excited. I want to share the feeling with the real people out there. I love getting that connection with the club crowd!"
