Lauren Elle is a diverse DJ on the London House scene. From tech house to soulful to deep house to progressive, Lauren Elle creates a vibe that flows from one genre to another.
She currently holds a monthly residency at Boho bar East Dulwich and plays across bars and venues in London. Also as a trained fitness professional Lauren works for many fitness companies holding the floor at fitness conventions and professional workshops, injecting her passion of house music into those working out!
Lauren began her djing journey 11 years ago when she was absorbed in the House & garage scene. After her brother bought some 1210's Lauren soon became a whizz behind the decks.
She went head first into production in 2000 and wrote & co produced a garage album that she performed Live PA's for in Ayia Napa and London. She's studied sound engineering and music production and completed a BTEC in Music which lead her into the music industry full time. Working for publisher's Chrysalis BMG and EMI. "Music is my biggest passion and is not a hobby but just another part of me. My brain is like a sponge for music. From the labels to the producers, I remember every tiny detail."
Lauren began to dj more and more in the summer of 2009 and began to explore house music whilst living abroad in Dubai. She dj'd at the fashion cafe and was soon noticed as she proved her selections were incredibly diverse and upfront.
She soon landed a DJ residency and played alongside veteran DJ Steve Feelgood for many a night at Boho Bar creating such a party vibe the bar would often stay open way past closing time!
Her style is for all things rhythmic, strong and powerful. "I like tracks that get you with minor chords and percussive drums, tracks that just drop and get the crowd putting their hands up!"
Producers such as Hector Couto, Hardsoul, Booka Shade, Steve Angello, Eddie Thoneick, Soul Purpose, DJ Gregory, Gregor Salto, DJ PP, Rocco and Dennis Ferrer show her diversity in house music styles and genres.
To date she has played in venues such as The Whitehouse in Clapham, Factory 65 in Vauxhall, Bedrock in Bromley, Rollerdisco in Vauxhall and Boho in East Dulwich.
Her collection of music spans decades and Lauren Elle can often found to be playing an old school dance set fused with 80's soul.
