I have been DJ'ing in and around Aberdeen for 7 years. I got into DJ'ing 8 years ago after seeing Judge Jules' old Friday night Show live from the Aberdeen exibition Center. After hasseling alot of clubs in Aberdeen, I starting out with a residency from 2001-2004 at Drum night club and its sister club Joy in Aberdeen. There, I was mixing hard house and Trance and also warming up for the club's various guests such as Jason Cortez and Phil York from Nucklear puppy, as well as playing alongside residents Alan Sadler, Bruce Catto, Scott Wallice, Garbo, J Provatus and Andy Brechin. From there, I started my own night called GYRATE at the club, booking the goodgreef album launch and playing alongside Eddie Halliwell, Shan, Alex Kidd, Adam Sheridan and various other guests. Over 04/05 I appeared at Taste, where I had the good fortune to meet DJ Dam and Combo (Stramsh), who i still appear on lineups with yet. I have Dj'd in Dingwall, Elgin town hall and in Elgin itself. I have held further residencies at the "fight club" and "dirty" nights at the "Pelican" and "Lo-Down" night club over a year (06-07).
During this time, I got the chance to try various styles of music for differant type of nights the clubs had and my music styles progressed to Techno/Electro. Over the last year, I have been involved with a night called "Stramash" @ the tunnels night club in Aberdeen. For that I had my night Gyrate hosting room two bringing in various guests from around Scotland including Barry Connell, Willaim Daniel (Aberdeen exclusive) Electrolab (Debut performance), Sonny Wharton @ club Snafu as well as DJ'ing along side them myself. Also, i now have a monthly slot @ the new Aberdeen night Kinetic. This will be @ the office and is run by local Dj/Promotor Tez. As well as all this, I have now also started pruducing my own music which will soon be launched on my label Gyrate Recordings
