DJ Biography:

From going clubbing in my teenage years to the age of 20, I came to realise that my goal in life was to be a professional D.J. My love of the scene and the music led me to try out mixing with a friend who already had some experience with mixing, and more importantly, some kit. I immediately found that I had a natural feel for mixing. This led me to start taking my Music Technology National diploma in 2004, at Northbrook College in Worthing. This provided me with a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience. It was at Northbrook where I began to hone my skills in the studio. From basic sound recording to more advanced, mastering techniques, I've gained a solid grounding in the production side of the industry. I felt that going down the route of an actual qualification suited me better than setting out to play in clubs straight away. I have played sets in three bars in the Seaford area and this has given me good experience of playing in fairly intimate settings where mistakes can be more noticeable. I feel my familiarity with gold-plated Technics equipment will also stand me in good stead due to their prevalence in Clubs.
