A relatively new talent for 2013 born in Sheffield, Micky Blue is the co-owner of All Over It Records. Ever since purchasing his first 1210’s off his older brother at the age of eleven, Micky Blue has been hooked on dance music. Growing up in a musical family Micky Blue has had a natural passion for music. During his school years he used to DJ for friends in garage raves bass line house and speed garage under the name ‘Ozzie’. Then through his student years became a drummer in a Sheffield band called ‘Seven Hills’, playing with bands such as ‘Inspiral Carpets’, ‘Shed Seven’ and ‘The Seahorses’. What steered him towards electronic music was his percussion work. After witnessing a percussionist at a Hed-Kend night, he thought to himself ‘That looks easy!’ So he took his hand to playing percussion in bars and clubs around the UK playing with the likes of ‘Graham Park’ and ‘Seb Fontaine (which can be heard on his track ‘Lazy Afternoon’), all the while honing his skills producing and Djing in the underground tech house scene. After completing a contemporary fine art degree in his home town Micky Blue got together with Joey Black and formed All Over It Records. In a short space of time they together set up a base in the steel city putting on club nights and all day raves firmly stamping there footprint in their hometown. Starting off with Chapters 1-3, with such hits as ‘Baby Its Over’ and ‘Let Me Be Free’ the records have strongly proven his skills as a tech-house/techno producer. Continuing to tour all over the UK, Micky Blue is rapidly becoming known for his bouncy baselines and continually ready to uplift the world with his unique blend of sounds and beats.
