Miss Adventure has been DJ'ing for nine years in London and Los Angeles. In LA she hosted a live, two hour show on FM radio. The show 'Beatbox' had, by it's 2nd year, the
largest number of 'hits' at the station. The music (DHL'd, weekly from Vinyl Addiction in Camden) was primarily breakbeat, but occasionally included good, noncommercial
(non-cheesy), house. She also wrote breakbeat reviews for BPM magazine, a west coast version of DJ magazine.
The music that got her into dj'ing and that still remains her passion, is breakbeat; from old skool and party breaks to the Lee Combes style of break-house, through to heavier
nu skool; but by including more house music in her sets work offers were greatly increased. On her return to the UK (and through to mid 2006) the style of music she played was
a house fusion - funky, soulful, sometimes progressive and often deep; however, since the summer of 2006 MissAdventure has been developing a more individual style she calls
'electro breaks'. As the name implies, this is a modern, electro blend of house and breaks.
Since returning to London she has played out at a number of different venues in and around London, including @ Pacha, Pop, Thirst, The Great Eastern, Cafe de Paris,
The Egg, Rouge, The Tea Bar and The Cobden Club. Having completed a very successful year of live, weekly radio shows on Shine FM (87.9), MissAdventure has now transferred
to a local station, Icecold (103 fm or www.icecoldfm.co.uk) where she hosts an extremely popular, 4 hour show every Thursday from 12 midday to 4pm. To view website and hear
