Richie is a DJ that plays a diverse blend of dance music with an international influence/flavour. For the last 4 years, Richie has been mixing electronic beats while gaining experience on the club scene in Brighton at clubs such as The Ocean Rooms and The Volks. While plying his trade on the decks, Richie has diversified, mixing various genres of dance music such as techno, house, electro house, progressive, trance and breaks. Regular trips to Holland to visit dance events such as Sensation and Dance Valley have been an influence stylistically, bringing a greater understanding of what a crowd react to when listening to different genres of dance music. Moreover, keeping true to the origins of Djing, Richie combines the classic format of vinyl with the new technology of Serato Scratch to obtain a balance between playing the latest tunes and the odd classic. Current on-going projects include involvement in the Electric Universe club promotion and co-presenter of a football/music radio show on a local FM radio station.
Originally, a fan of dance music and now an accomplished practicing DJ, the interaction with audiences is what Richie mostly enjoys. It is through such experiences that the right music is played to work the crowd so they have a great night on the dance floor.
