Stevie began mixing in 1995, he opened his first record shop in 1998 when he was 18 called Dirty Phat Beats. DPB was instantly successful and dubbed the best record shop in west London
with its unique interior style slick marble effect paint work, marble desk, high ceilings and extensive collection of classic and upfront vinyl of all genres DPB's reputation grew fast.
Riding on the crest of the UK Garage revolution DPB was then extended to house a recording studio out of which the tracks Liar and Tyson were produced.
With everything looking good, a second shop in Uxbridge was opened, Revolution Records. Both shops were turning over incredible business by now and had contracts with all the big
promoters, Slammin Vinyl, Helter Skelter, Telepathy, Best of British, Garage Fever, Global Gathering and One Nation. Revolution and DPB became THE place to get what you wanted in
West London.
Finally the 3rd installment in the empire was, 'Revolution Hardware', located directly opposite Revolution Records selling decks mixers and all other associated bits and pieces.
Uxbridge was now your one stop shop for all your Djing needs.
All three shops were in full flow and had now gained a dedicated team. Minor modifications to the studio in Dirty Phat Beats were made and a pirate radio station called Fire FM was born.
Unfortunately this became a flash in the pan exercise for the team and the agro of running the station became too much.
With the digital revolution and the tinternet, the Viper Empire had to step aside, but was a time never to be forgotten by all involved.
Now Stevie is focused on his Djing career and is a fundamental member of the highly acclaimed electro night, 'Sick! On the Dancefloor' which exploded onto the scene in London in early
2006. Stevie is also busy in the studio with certain tracks in the pipeline for the summer of 07. Watch this space.
