DJ Biography:

I am a Funky House DJ and got my first set of decks about 10 years ago. When I first started going out on the club scene I wanted to get the tunes that I was hearing when I was out. I soon realised that this would prove difficult as most of the tunes were white labels or ultimately never got officially released. This led me to purchase a DJ starter kit comprising of two Soundlab belt drive decks and a basic Soundlab mixer. I quickly realised that I enjoyed mixing and upgraded to some Technics 1210s. My set-up now comprises of Technics 1210 decks, Pioneer CDJ 800 decks and a Numark DXM09 mixer! I have approximately 5000 records from the early nineties to present-day primarily Funky House and Classic House tunes. I completed a guest mix for Andy Ward (AKA Soul Central - Strings of Life) that featured on his radio show in Ibiza. The mix was a big success and was described by Andy as "Text book mixing - perfect for the radio!"
