Tony has always had a passion for music, especially electronic dance music!Experiencing the finest dance music across
the whole spectrum at many of the UK's top venues. Enjoying performances from some of his most influential djs
like Carl Cox, Sven Vath, Sasha and Digweed, Josh Winks, Westbam, and many more.Tony just began from square one with a second-hand pair of
cheap decks and hours and hours of practice each day developing his unique
style of performing.Over the past seven years Tony has honed his skills and developed his style making him a unique
talent that never fails to impress.Working alongside some of the biggest names in the industry such as Ade Fenton,
Billy Nasty, Mark Turner, Ignition Technician, Pedro Delgardo, James Alexander, Riley & Durrant and MC Flasher
have given him a wealth of experience. Back in 2004 Tony Sowerby Selby based DJ embarked upon
something that had never been attempted before to hold a house & techno
event in Selby! Being a small boring
town with very little going on , week in week out local clubs and bars played the same selection
of chart and commercial dance music to the same old faces by the same old Djs ,
but he knew there was a demand for a quality underground dance music event. Tony
knew there were real clubbers in the area, but they just weren't staying there,
there was no reason to! Something had to happen, and it did! The birth of
R3TOX R3ToX team up with Pure Techno, now one of the UK's biggest and well-known monthly techno
events to put on its first killer parties, playing host to some of the UK's
biggest techno djs.This was the start of something much more than just a House
& Techno party.Throughout 2005 R3ToX organized parties, club events and
raves traveling the length and breadth of the British Isles belting out their
sound , Manchester, Scarborough, Wakefield, York...the list goes on.Developing R3ToX into a professional business entity was the
next stage. Not content with simply
organizing parties.The start of 2006 saw the growth of the R3ToX Empire
building its strong foundations with in the industry.2007 was to see to be
the start of a new venture called public house a free event run and organized by Tony , he and many of
his friends wanted to give back some thing to the clubbers , this event was to
take an unexpected turn becoming very popular with the crowds forcing Tony
to find a new bigger venue .In May Tony was asked by club inferno if R3ToX would organize party's at the club to try to help in turning this failing club around,
Tony and R3ToX began to run and put on some of the best party's the club had
ever seen developing a new range of electronic music to cater for all tastes.2007 was also to be an unexpected turn for Tony, Tony was to
play his 1st event in Slovenia at the Fun Factory where he
experienced a passion and love for electronic dance music like none ever before
, leaving Tony wanting to be a part of this .In august this year Tony decided he would move to Slovenia
to continue with his career in the electronic music industries, not long had he
been there when he was invited to join FFA team one of the most recognised
event organiser in the country to help with SYLD GLOBAL an unique international
dj contest like no other.
